With time things change, especially in Tree Hill. To most it seems like just yesterday that they were happily spending time with one another. With age becomes responsibilities and complications however, as too many have found out. Jake has left town with Jenny, the basketball season has come to an end, and now Keith and Lucas are set to leave town to start a new. For those that remain in Tree Hill life may never be the same.
Brooke and Peyton who had both gone against their friendly motto now have to find out if they can mend their friendship for the long run. While Haley and Nathan have to deal with things regarding their relationship status. Dan and Deb have signed their divorce papers successfully without a hitch. While Karen is left to deal with an ‘empty’ house.
Meanwhile Keith and Lucas move near two hours just Northwest of Tree Hill to a (fictional) town named Branson, North Carolina where Keith has gotten a job as a shop class teacher at the high school. Where they both get quite the surprise, especially for Lucas. Although the teen soon finds out that starting over at another school might not be as easy as he might of thought.
